To foster close interaction and encourage future collaboration, three top biomedical institutions of France and China established joint center for MOU and held the first trio-party symposium in Shanghai on October 31, 2018.  Dr. Zhu Chen, vice chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, attended the ceremony and symposium.

　　Before the symposium, Prof. Alain Prochiantz, Chair of Morphogenetic Processes, Collège de France, Prof. Guoqiang Chen, President of the Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and Prof. Muming Poo, Director of the Institute of Neuroscience of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, signed three-party scientific cooperation agreements on behalf of their respective institutions.

　　Prof. Hugues DE THE and Prof. Xiang Yu were the Moderators during the symposium. Prof. Alain Prochiantz, Michal Zugaro from Collège de France, Prof. Bomin Sun from Shanghai Jiao Tong University Rui Jin Hospital, and Prof. Muming Poo, Chengyu Li, Liping Wang and Yong Gu of the Institute of Neuroscience made academic reports.

　　On November 1, Prof. Alain Prochiantz, Hugues de Thé、Michal Zugaro、Stéphane Germain of the Collège de France visited the Institute of Neuroscience, CAS. They interacted and discussed the future collaboration with several laboratories in related research areas.
