On November 11, 2009, a delegation from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Delegation from Korea visited ION. Members included Ki-seok KIM (Deputy Director, Converging Technology Team, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Korea), Ae Hwa KIM (Assistant Director, Basic Research Division, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Korea), Dr. Sung-oh HUH (Professor, College of Medicine, Hallym University), Dr. Hyun KIM (Professor, College of Medicine, Korea University) and Gill seung LEE (Deputy Director, Division of Nano & Converging Technology, National Research Foundation of Korea). Drs. Shu-Min Duan, Zhen-Ge Luo and Xiang Yu hosted their visit, and Dr. Xiang Yu gave a brief description of current research at ION. After the introduction and discussions, the delegation visited ION General Instruments Facility and Optical Imaging Facility.
