The memorial service for Prof. Xiang-Tong Zhang (Hsiang-Tung Chang) was held at Shanghai Longhua Funeral Home on November 11th, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. Prof. Zhang is a world-renowned neurophysiologist, a founding father of neuroscience research in China, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CA) and Honorary Director of the Institute of Neuroscience, CAS. The service was attended by nearly seven hundred people, including various dignitaries from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Municipality, family, friends and students of Prof. Zhang, as well as faculty, staff and students from the Institute of Neuroscience.
