On May 23, 2007, a delegation from University of Leeds visited ION, members included:

Dr. Alan Bateson, Senior Lecturer at University of Leeds.
Dr. Lin-Hua Jiang, Lecturer at University of Leeds.
Dr. Nikita Gamper, Lecturer at University of Leeds.

The delegation visited the Laboratories of Sensory Integration & Behavior, Neural Plasticity, Synapse Development & Plasticity, Neural Network Function and Sensory System. Dr. Xu Zhang then gave a brief description of current research at ION and answering questions regarding the prospects of future collaboration between ION and Leeds.
