The 21^th CEBSIT (ION) annual scientific meeting was held during December 26^th to 28^th, 2021.   

　　The meeting started from Dr. DU Jiulin’s director report, and he talked about the center’s 14^th five year plan, research findings, grant applications, intellectual property transfer, human resources, education and facilities in 2021. 

　　Dr. QIU Zilong, 2021 Chang HT Distinguished Young Neuroscientist Laureate, gave a lecture entitled “Decode genetic basis and neural circuitry of autism - insights from Chinese ASD cohorts”. 

　　Forty-seven researchers, mainly graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, presented their recent progress. Three researchers from Brain Connectome Facility introduced the progress on connectome in zebrafish, mouse and non-human primate. Nine new PIs introduced their research directions and lab establishment. And Dr. POO Muming, the Scientific Director,  gave a comment on the meeting and announced the best presentation awards. . 

　　The best six presentations were awarded to DONG Yufan (first prize, LIU Danqian’s Lab), Feng Chenzhang(second prize, ZHANG Zhe’s Lab),  LI Hongyu(second prize, DU Jiulin’s Lab), JIAO Zhenfei(third prize, MU Yu’s Lab), SHEN Yihan(third prize,ZHOU Changyang’s Lab), XIE Jingyi(third prize, ZHAO Zhengtuo’s Lab).
