Dr. LIU Zhen, born in November 1988, now the Principal Investigator at the Lab of Reproductive Engineering in Primates. He has been committed to the research and development of non-human primate genetic modification technology and model construction. He has taken the lead in constructing somatic cell clone monkey models and autism transgenic monkey models in the world, providing research on brain function, brain disease mechanisms and intervention methods. He has achieved a series of original achievements, which were awarded as the "Top Ten Progresses in Science in China" in 2016 and 2018.
