In order to explore new dimensions for the cultivation of graduate students’ scientific research literacy, CEBSIT offers a series of “transferrable skills courses” each year.
The course includes: 4 special lectures and 4 case discussions. In the special lecture, POO Muming, Scientific Director of CEBSIT, emphasized the importance of good academic communication skills. He started by introducing the definition of research misconduct, using a large number of examples from the international scientific community to guide students to understand the importance of research misconduct. At the same time, the benefits and importance of communicating unpublished work are emphasized, and scientific researchers are encouraged to look at scientific research cooperation in a long-term perspective. In addition, POO believes that the ability of innovative research can be learned by understanding the history behind creative work, learning to receive information selectively, focusing on seemingly "irrelevant" research fields, learning to describe and discuss science.
