The 20th ION annual meeting was held at the Campus Lecture Hall from December 27th to 29th, 2019. More than 350 researchers attended this meeting.
Dr. LI Yulong, Investigator of Peking University and 2019 Chang HT Distinguished Young Neuroscientist Laureate, gave a lecture entitled “Spying on neuromodulation by constructing genetically-encoded GRAB sensors”. Dr. YU Xiang, Professor of Peking University and 2019 Chang HT Distinguished Young Neuroscientist Laureate, gave a lecture entitled “Molecular and circuit mechanisms underlying early crossmodal global plasticity in the sensory cortices”.
Prof. POO Muming addressed his speech during the end of the meeting. He shared his insights on original aspiration and mission, Chinese dream and great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, as a scientist.
Seventy-six researchers, mainly graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, presented their recent progress. The best six presentations were awarded to HUANG Yanwang (first prize, WANG Zuoren’s Lab), WANG Yufan (second prize, DU Jiulin’s Lab), ZHANG Zhenkun (second prize, Wang Kai’s Lab), LIU Yanhe (third prize, XU Ninglong’s Lab), ZOU Shimin (third prize, LI Chengyu’s Lab), ZENG Huanhuan (third prize, POO Muming’s Lab).
